Manna Jo Greene has stepped down after more than two decades as Environmental Action Director at Clearwater. Manna Jo talked with Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine about Clearwater's efforts to clean up the Hudson River and the role played by founder musician / activist Pete Seeger.
After the interview, Manna Jo said she wished she had discussed how the civil rights movement and Dr. Martin Luther King were her initial exposure to activism.
Listen to the interview here.
Pete Seeger joined an all-star cast of local and regional musicians at the Rosendale Community Center to support Manna Jo Greene's candidacy for the Ulster County (NY) Legislature. Check our Calendar for upcoming events during this year's campaign!
Manna's campaign would greatly appreciate letters of support for her candidacy be sent to local media.
Please urge voters in Ulster County, Legislative District 19 – the Town of Rosendale, and High Falls and Stone Ridge in Marbletown – to vote for Manna Jo Greene in the Democratic Primary on June 24.
